NET IS MOVING THIS THURSDAY

We have tested out our new repeater and we feel things are sufficiently setup to move the Thursday Net to our new frequency.  So with that being said Thursday's net (January 24th 8:00 PM) will be held on 448.800 Mhz, negative offset 100 hz tone.  We will have someone on the old frequency just in case not everyone gets the message that we have moved.  In the mean time I would recommend that you try hit the repeater before the net to make sure your radio is properly configured.

repeater the past couple of years.

Repeater Update

Just a quick update on the repeater.  The company that is installing the tower is still waiting on a part.  In the mean time I have installed the repeater at a temporary location that will allow it to be on 24/7.  I have been able to hit it as far as Draper.   Please give it a try and let me know of any issues you have with it.  Unless we find something wrong with it we are hoping to run Thursday's NET on it.  As a reminder the frequency is 448.80 Mhz, negative offset 100 hz tone.

Saturday Morning In Person Meet Details

This Saturday will be the first in person meet of the year. We will meet at station 74 in the training room at 9:00 AM. To kick things of we are going to start with bagels and juice then we will have a quick election for President and Secretary.  After that we will have a few demonstrations.  They will be how to build a Baofeng repeater, Bluetooth and packet radio, components of a repeater.  If you have something you would like to bring for show and tell please bring it.
